Attorney Frank C. Gray, Jr., Esquire

Frank Gray’s parents had solid estate planning to protect themselves and their assets long before his mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s Disease. Through her declining medical condition over the years, the estate planning they did many years before provided a guide for helping the whole family provide her medical care and eventually nursing home care. After her death in 2019, the planning made transitioning into the next stage of life easier for everyone she left behind, including avoiding probate entirely.

Frank started out his career in the law as a clerk in a local prosecutor’s office, attending law school at night. After graduating with honors, he went on to work for the Anne Arundel County community for over 25 years, eventually making the move from law clerk to prosecutor himself.

Frank and his partner, Greg Jimeno, started Jimeno Gray in 2003, and together opened Chesapeake Wills and Trusts, where he spearheads the probate and trust administration operations. After over two decades in private practice, Frank has received countless awards from publications, like Baltimore Magazine; and has been recognized as a Top Lawyer by What’s Up Annapolis for his work helping families with their legal issues. He was also recognized in the SuperLawyers Magazine as a top attorney in Maryland.

Frank is a Maryland Bar Fellow, a former Standing Examiner for the Circuit Court for Anne Arundel County, and a fitness enthusiast who previously competed as a triathlete. His wife is a clinical social worker. Together, they have a 19-year-old son, who is studying engineering, as well as two entirely ridiculous but completely lovable rescue dogs, Snoopy and Leo.

Frank, a lover of athletics, has devoted hundreds of hours coaching four different sports in two different local youth sports organizations. He is now a devoted fan of his son’s collegiate baseball team as well as all the area professional sports teams. On the weekends, you might also find him hovering over his smoker or one of his many grills.
